Harvey Andrew (Andy) Foster, 65, passed away on February 23, 2021 at his residence in Millport, Alabama surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Terry Robinson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Interment will be at Kennedy City Cemetery under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Andy was born on March 10, 1955 to Emmett Noah and Swan Marine (Wilson) Foster; the youngest of 10 children.  He grew up in Kennedy and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1974 and was a member of Kennedy Baptist Church. Andy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was employed at Weyerhaeuser Company for 24 years and Natures Earth for 10 years of service. Andy loved the outdoors, especially deer and turkey hunting. He loved to sit and listen to dogs run. During retirement, you could often find him on the front porch in his rocking chair.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sarah Junkin and three brothers, Ray, James and Rayford Foster.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann (Robinson) Foster, a daughter, Wendy Foster Shaw (Lynn) of Kennedy, AL., a son, Kevin Andrew Foster (Christy) of Kennedy, AL., sisters Miriam Nabors, Brenda Pitts and Joan Myers, brothers Bobby and Doug Foster and 7 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larson Shaw, Renley Foster, Lathan Shaw, David Foster, Ladd Shaw, Ledger Shaw, Langston Shaw and Phillip Foster.
