Obituary
Barbara J. Beard, 57 of Vernon, Alabama died on Monday, March 13, 2017, at her daughter's residence in Vernon, Alabama.
Born Sunday, April 19, 1959 in Fayette, Alabama to the late Robert Clifford and Rosa Pearl Randolph Lynn. A 1977 Graduate of Lamar County High School she had made Crossville her lifelong home. She had dedicated her life to taking care of the elderly and being there for the young when they needed it most. She was a member of Piney Grove Church of God.
Surviving are sons, James Beard, Nick Cunningham, Marvin Beard and Jesse Cunningham, daughter, Lela Kizzire, sisters, Martha Daniels and Vivan Lynn; 8 grand children; 4 great grand children. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband; Albert W. Beard; 2 sisters and one brother.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Piney Grove Church of God. The body will lie-in-state from 1:00 until 2:00 at the Church. Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Tim Glasgow, Randy Glasgow, Ralph Glasgow, Norman Burrage, Danny Joe Moore.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Dowdle Funeral Home,
