Barbara Cobb, 79, of Kennedy, Alabama passed away on April 20, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Bro. Ed Nabors officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel. Burial will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery.

Barbara was born on November 3, 1943, to Milburn and Eunice Trull in Lamar County. She was a life-long resident of the South Lamar area. She retired from McRae's Department store, she is a former beautician, and she also worked for the Lamar County School System as secretary at Kennedy High School. Barbara loved to cook, and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cobb; her parents, Milburn and Eunice Trull; and a son, Michael (Chuck) Cobb.

She is survived by her son, Derrick Cobb, 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Jewell Mathis, niece Sherri Swanson (Bruce), nephew Jim Mathis (Delinda) and a host of great nieces, nephews, family and friends.
