Barbara Trapp, 73, of Millport, Alabama, passed away on August 22, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Bro. Jeff Long and Bro. Adam Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Millport, Alabama.

Barbara was born on June 26, 1951 to Dexter and Ola Frances Williams Taylor. She previously worked at Chromalox. She loved working in her flowerbeds, spending time with her family and spoiling all of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Billy, Ray, Robert and Theron Taylor and sisters Nancy Beck, Kathleen Shackelford, Jean Abrams, Blanche Robinson and Linda Jones.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Johnny Wayne Trapp, Millport, AL. a daughter, Lisa Trull, Vernon, AL., son William Dale Trull, Millport, AL. and daughter, Laveeta Cooley (Ronald), Fayette, AL., grandchildren Ashley Cooley (Jesse), William Cole Trull (Karen), Jackie Ragsdale (John), Danyele Trull, William Hunter Trull (Kelsey) and Brian Cooley, great-grandchildren Ashton Holden and  Aaron White.

Pallbearers Ronnie Madison, Hunter Trull, Cole Trull, Alvin Trapp, Matthew O'Neal, Paul Robbins, Mike Taylor, Wade Gorden and Dennis Jones.
