Rebecca Ann Watkins, 74, of Millport, Alabama, passed away on March 20, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Funeral services will be Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Cannady and Bro. David Honeycutt officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow the service at Kennedy City Cemetery, Kennedy, Alabama.

Becky was born on March 8, 1948 in Kennedy, Alabama to the late Elbert and Inez Bobbitt. She loved to travel and was always on the road.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 64 years, Rodger Watkins.

She leaves behind two sons whom she loved dearly, Tim Watkins (Becky) and Ryan Watkins (Pam), a sister, Genise Ziontz, four grandchildren, Andrew Watkins (Jessica), Kella Smith (Josh), Kaci Watkins and Hunter Watkins, four great-grandchildren, Copen and Kaylen Johnson, Hazeleigh Smith and Carlee Watkins.

Pallbearers are Howard Byars, Matthew Byars, Redus Stokes, Mike Butts, Braydon Butts and Dewayne Richards. Honorary pallbearers are Max Crowley, Jeremy Whitten and employees of Fresenius Kidney Care.
