Mary Elizabeth Graham, 87, formally of Millport, AL passed away 10/29/2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. There will be a graveside service on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Shiloh Cemetery in Hightogy, AL with Rev. Neal Hodo officiating. Burial will follow with Dowdle Funeral Home in charge.

Beth, as her family knew her, was born on March 7, 1933 in Millport, Alabama to B. Willie and Gladys (Stapp) Graham. She graduated Millport High School in 1952. She was Salutatorian of her class and was also awarded The Good Citizenship Medal. After graduation, she entered the Druid City Hospital School of Nursing and received the Pilot Club Scholarship. She also attended the University of Alabama. She graduated from the nursing program in 1955 and was employed by Druid City Hospital as a recovery room nurse. She spent over 32 years of her nursing career as a charge nurse at the Lamar County Hospital in Vernon, Alabama. She was also a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers, Marion Graham, Gene Gayle Graham, Charles Henry Graham and Harrel Graham. She is survived by brothers Edward H. (Buddy) Graham (Gloria) and Billy Joe Graham and a host of nieces and nephews.
