Bettie F. Porter, 83 died on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Fayette Long Term Care in Fayette, Alabama.
Born Friday, May 12, 1933 in Kennedy, Alabama.to the Late Hobson & Naoma Moore Freeman.She attended Nursing School when she met her future husband and married the Love of her life. Mrs. Porter worked a number of years at the Millport Garment Factory. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Adell Carr, & Loyce Walker and attended Higdon Church of God
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Higdon Church of God, Kennedy, AL. with Bro Terry Robinson officiating.
She is survived by her Husband, Floyd Porter.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Dowdle Funeral Home.
