Betty Mae Cox, 73 of Millport, Alabama died on Monday, December 9, 2019, in Tuscaloosa, AL
She was born on June 29, 1946 to the late Hunter Gene and Ada (Wilder) Hayden. She was the wife of Douglas Cox and a life long resident of Millport, AL. She retired from the Millport Garment Plant and was a member of New Grove Baptist Church in Kennedy, AL.
She is survived by sons, McArthur Cox, Larry Cox and Jeff Cox and daughters, Linda Cox Johnson and Jennifer Renee' Cox. Brothers, Gay Hayden, Roy Hayden, Bruce Hayden, Ray Hayden, Joe Ross Hayden, Tony Hayden, Gene Hayden and sisters, Annie Hayden Guyton, Lora Hayden Oglen and Brenda Hayden. She had 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sheila Hayden and a brother Ernest Hayden.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery, Millport, AL.
