Betty Ann Wilcox, 82, of Ethelsville, AL, passed away December 15, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. David Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery in Ethelsville, AL.

Betty was born and raised in Aberdeen, MS, where she met her husband John Wayne Wilcox and married him in July 1959. She was a bookkeeper for Joe's Auto Electric for many years and then she was a homemaker. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was all about her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family, church and neighbors.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina Randall and Angela Janes; sons, Wesley Wilcox and Lance Wilcox; sister, Mitzi Morgan; brother, Wayne Gordon; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Wilcox; her parents, Milton Gordon and Hazel Weaver Gordon, and grandson Cody Wayne Hall.

Pallbearers will be Rowan Wilcox, Nicholas Jones, Eric Randall, John Wilcox, Allen Jones, and Josh Jewell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nickie Hammonds, Tasha Williams, Daphne Tice, Damon Rose, and Amedisys Hospice.
