Betty Winters, 77, of Greenville, TN. passed away on September 20, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center. Funeral services will be Monday, September 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL, with Dr. David Green officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Millport City Cemetery in Millport, AL.

Betty retired from Motor-Guide in Starkville, MS, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville, TN. Betty loved reading her bible and her daily devotion, she enjoyed yard work, gardening, and cooking. She was an encouragement to others by her devotion to sending cards.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Samuel Winters and Kim of Oxford, MS; one daughter, Ronda Winters Miller of Greenville, TN; grandchildren, Bradley Winters of Oxford, MS, Evan Miller, Ian Miller, and Ellason Miller all of Greenville, TN; two sisters, Gaila Watson and Shirley (Ron) Hunsucker; and Betty's church family at First Baptist Church of Greenville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bradley Winters; mother Gratice Cockerham; and father, Winford Cockerham.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Winters, Evan Miller, Stanley Allred, JT Beard, Bradley Morrison, and Jeff Morrison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Finch and Barry Wilson.

In lieu of flowers you may donate in Betty's memory to First Baptist Church of Greenville, TN, Susan G. Komen Foundation and Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
