Billy Wayne Hollis, 79, of Millport, AL. passed away on December 19, 2021 at his residence. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lovejoy Cemetery in Beaverton, AL. with Bro. Robert Gillis officiating under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL.

Bill was born on December 29, 1941 to Avril and Mary (Woods) Hollis in Fayette County, Alabama. He did contract labor for the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Fernbank Baptist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Virginia Jones and Irene Whitehead and one brother, Bobby Joe Hollis. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth and two brothers, Mack and Ricky Hollis.
