William (Bill) McDaniel, 63, of Kennedy, Alabama, passed away on May 9, 2023, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Jeff Long officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Higdon Cemetery in Kennedy, Alabama.

Bill loved drag racing and he also loved going to the beach.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa McDaniel, father, Bobby McDaniel, mother, Jimmie Nell McDaniel, daughter, Brooke Phelps, son, B.J. McDaniel, sisters, Pam Hickman and Vickie Harrison (David) and 7 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shane Robertson, David Harrison, Allen Spencer, Brandon Banks, Scott Stripling, Mike Harris, and Corey Earnest.
