Bobbie Jean Thomas, 75, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, AL. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 21 , 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Rev. Jerry L. Bridges officiating assisted by Rev. Kevin Dixon. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Millport.

Bobbie was born on July 30, 1949 to the late Robert and Olivia Washington. She was a caregiver to many in Lamar, Fayette and Marion counties. Every life she touched loved her dearly and she will be missed by family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Thomas, sisters Robbie Washington and Betty Cheeks. She is survived by a sister, Patricia Washington- Millport, AL. and a brother, Bobby Washington (Kathy)-Hamilton, AL., a special niece, Janice Cobb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers are Tony Washington, Sedrick Washington, Chris Washington, Andrew Sanders, Jawuan Sanders and Xavier King.
