Bobby Dale Eatmon Sr. was born on July 6th 1947 and departed this life on January 8th 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother Hilda Rice, father Odell Eatmon sister Brenda Eatmon and brother Walter Lee Neal.

Bobby confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and a member of the deacon board since 1980. Under the leadership of the Late D.B. Edwards and the Late Dr. O L Morgan.

Bobby attended Todd High School in Vernon Alabama. On November 27th 1971 Bobby and Josephine became one. They were inseparable until his departure. Bobby was employed at Arvin for 35 years until he retired.

His memories will be honored and cherished by his wife, Josephine Eatmon Millport Al. Two daughters, Cynthia (Tony) Hill Lithonia Ga. and Mary Sturdivant Milport Al., Four sons, Bobby Dale (Dequita) Eatmon Jr., Stone Mountain Ga., Sammy (Vicky) Sturdivant, Fayette Al., Shawn (Robyn) Eatmon, San Diego CA. and Orlando (Tracy) Eatmon, Hampton Ga. Two sisters, Barbara Ann (Charlie) Strawbridge, Milport Al and Sherry Tucker, Montgomery Al. One uncle, Paul (Jerri) Cunningham. Ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Bobby was also surrounded in Love by a host of nieces and nephews and Friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Millport, Alabama with Dowdle Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 12:00- 1:00 p.m. at the church. Internment will be in the Holly Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Deacon Board of Holly Grove Baptist Church and friends.
