Brenda Joyce Richards, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 17, 2022, at her residence in Reform, AL. Funeral services will be Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL with Bro. George Shaw officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Friendship Church cemetery under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

She was born on December 6, 1971 in Columbus, MS. Brenda devoted her life to being a loving Christian, mother, companion and friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. No matter what she may have been enduring, she tried to carry each day out with a smile.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Fred Ford, brothers, Freddy Ford and Jimmy Ford, nephews, Charles Ford and Jimmy Ford Jr.

She is survived by her life companion, Hubert Perkins, daughter, Taylor Richards, mother, Joyce Harcrow, sisters, Amy Murphee, Sharon Wilson, and her loving nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Whaley, Andy Ford, Hugh Perkins, Austin Perkins, Bryan Wilson II and Rusty Mills.
