In addition , she is survived by grandparents Woodie and Linda Wilson (Kennedy,AL), grandmother Rena Robinson (Vernon,AL) and a wealth of of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brooklyn was a student at Lamar County High School where she had an incredible work ethic. To say that she loved her family is a gross understatement. She also loved her church family, the outdoors and animals (especially strays who needed a home). Anyone who knew her knew that she was bold in her faith. She had a sense of mission rarely seen in one so young. One of her favorite passages captured her perfectly: "Why am i discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again-my Savior and my God!" To complain was utterly foreign to her. She was obsessed with doing what was right and honorable. Those who knew her would agree that seldom has one so young touched so many with so much faith and kindness.
Pallbearers will be Trent Wilson, Lane Tate, Luke Kelly, Lee Kelly, Wil Herring, Drew Herring and Houston Shaw.
Family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Lamar County Humane Society, PO Box 534, Vernon, AL 35593.
