Obituary

Chaney Danyelle Livingston, 18, was called home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2024. There will be a memorial service for immediate family on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Lamar County High School in Vernon, Alabama. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the school.

Chaney was a senior at Lamar County High School where she excelled as a student. Being a member of the National Beta Club and the National Honor Society was just two of her many accomplishments. She had also earned an associate degree at Bevill State Community College in Cosmetology. She had been accepted to eighteen colleges in ten different states but planned to attend the University of West Florida after graduation. While being a full-time student, Chaney was employed at Zachary's restaurant in Columbus, Mississippi.

Unfortunately, our sweet Chaney was taken before she could fulfill her dreams. Chaney's love of life didn't come to an end with her death. She loved her life to the absolute fullest. She loved her family, friends and cousins more than anything. Chaney was the most straightforward and determined child you would ever meet. She was the girliest of girls and loved Taylor Swift, the sun, the beach, getting her nails and hair done and spending time with friends. While she had several "best friends", her mom topped them all! Chaney strived to be the "best girl" for her mom and that's exactly what she did.

Chaney was born on September 23, 2005 and is survived by her mother, Carley Harrison (Chris) and father, Bobby Livingston (Jessica), grandparents, Gary and Becky Brown and Tim and Sheila Hamilton of Caledonia, Mississippi. Siblings, Farrah, Caitlyn, Cailey, Alexa, Kyndel, Rylee Hunter, Brice, TJ, JoJo and Chris along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Elane Livingston and Bob Harrison of Caledonia, Mississippi.

We will miss her dearly, however, we will carry her memories within us forever. You are so loved Chaney Bug!!!
