Charles C. Bradford, age 88, passed away on January 16, 2023 in Pensacola, FL. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Millport, AL. under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Charles was born September 2, 1934 to Dollie Mae and Edgar Bradford. He was one of 10 children. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and moved permanently to Pensacola, FL in 1956. Charles retired from International Paper Company in 1994 after 38 years. He loved any kind of fishing, watching football, family gatherings and tinkering outside in his garage.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva and sons Ronald Darwin and Charles David, three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Heather Dickin, Jeremy Bradford and Hope Lukasik, 5 great-grandchildren, Brad Dickin, Bailie Bradford, Grace Dickin, Emma Bradford and Abby Dickin, three sisters, Linda Wheeler, Maxine Cash and Gail Jones and several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was quite simply the smartest man we ever knew and he will be greatly missed!
