Charles Russell Dawkins, 52 of Kennedy, Alabama died on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at his Residence in Kennedy, Alabama.
Born Tuesday, October 29, 1963 in Fayette, Alabama, to Charles Durwood & Virginia Lou Williams Dawkins. A graduate of Millport High School he worked more than 30 years for Marathon Equipment Co. and Ministered at Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ. Mr. Dawkins enjoyed playing his guitar and was an avid golfer but most of all he enjoyed the loves of his life his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Durwood, and recently by his mother Virginia Dawkins. He was a member of Mt Pleasant Church of Christ.
Surviving are Wife, Lori Vann Dawkins, sons, Eric Russell (Trudy) Dawkins and Rusty Shane (Ilsa) Dawkins, brothers, Joey Dawkins and Ken Dawkins, sisters, Vicki Dawkins Homan, Cassie Dawkins Griffin and Jennie Dawkins House; 5 grand children.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Dowdle Funeral Home,
