Charles Robert Hudgens, Jr., 80, of Millport, AL. passed away at Generations of Vernon on November 3, 2022. There will be no public visitation. Graveside services for family and friends will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Friendship FWB Cemetery in Steens, MS. with Bro. Danny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home, Millport, AL.

Charles, known to friends and family as "Cowboy" was a life-long resident of the Millport area and graduated from Millport High School. He worked for a number of years in maintenance at Omnova Inc. in Columbus Mississippi and was also self-employed in the construction industry. Charles was a member of Steens Church of Christ. He loved, collected and restored antique cars.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cedelle Hudgens, a sister, Jean Rector, two sons, Chris Hudgens (Dana) and Corey Hudgens (Susan), six grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Javi, Anna, Jace and Silas Hudgens.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Hudgens, Sr. and Sue Graham Hudgens.
