Charles Ottis Patrick, 84, of Millport, Alabama passed away July 2, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services are to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Springhill Baptist Church in Millport, AL. with Bro. Matthew Fancher officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Millport, AL. all under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Charles was born on February 2, 1936 in Millport, AL to Matthew "Mack" Patrick and Annie Ruth Mordecai Patrick. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Bumpus) Patrick, son Charles Clay Patrick (Heidi), sister Barbara Joyce Clarke and brothers, Mike and Austin Patrick along with 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Lynn Patrick and two brothers, Billy Paul Patrick and Jay Lee Patrick.

Pallbearer will be Shane Patrick, Matthew Patrick, Tony Patrick, Mitch Clarke, Terry Fields, Larry Robertson, Rodney Aldridge and Barry Wilson.

Charles' pride and joy was without a doubt his children, grandchildren and his great grandchildren. His great grandchildren are Trenton Lee Foster, Brinley Nichol Foster and the future Jaxson Cole Flynt.

Throughout his journey Charles took care. He cared for all of his children, all of his people and all of his animals. Fly high Charles. your memory will be with our little town forever and ever, Amen.
