Wilford Chester Shaw ,80, of Millport, Al. passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at his residence in Millport.  Funeral services will be Monday, June 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Al. with Bro. Ray Aldridge and Bro. Max Bobbitt officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening, June 13, 2021 at Dowdle Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Millport, AL.

Chester was born on October 15, 1940 to Wilford and Essie(Byars) Shaw. He was a retired pastor and worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier. Chester is survived by two sisters, Lounell Aldridge, Kennedy, AL and Irene Oglesby (Willie Hill), Reform, AL. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Aldridge and brother, Davis Shaw.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Aldridge, Jeffrey Oglesby, Joey Oglesby, Leslie Oglesby, David Lockhart and Mike Hildreth.
