Obituary
Born Sunday, August 13, 1933 in Lamar County Al. to the late Mr. Ester Owens and Mrs. Elease Stokes Owens. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy Doyt Shelton.
She was a member of Church of Christ.
Surviving are daughters, Vickie Weathers,(Danny), Pam Aldridge,(Mike), Carla Stapp,(Johnny), and Toni Sanders, brother, James Owens,(Hazel), sisters, Laudeen Higdon, (Roland), and Faye Jones; 10 grand children; 8 great grand children.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Dowdle Funeral Home. Interment will be in Kennedy City Cemetery, , .
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Dowdle Funeral Home, Millport, Alabama.
Pall Bearers will be Greg Hester, Chris Hester, Brad Stapp, Shannon Wright, Jacob Stapp, Stephen Baeuerlin.
