Curtis Edward Porter, 83, of Kennedy, AL. passed away on January 19, 2023, at DCH hospital in Fayette, AL.

Survivors include his wife Shearl, sons Tony (Kae) Porter and Darryl (Melinda) Fike, daughter Mary Lynn Porter, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He retired from Tuscaloosa Police Department and Gulf States Paper. He enjoyed firearms, cooking for family and friends, and the farm.

Graveside services will be at 11:00AM on January 23, 2023, at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Kennedy, AL. with Bro. David Wilson officiating.

Pallbearers are Gunter Webb, Tony Porter, Jr., Hunter Porter, Williiam Golden, Christopher Newton and Jonathan Cash.
