Daniel Westley Gartman, of Millport, Alabama, passed away January 7, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Danny Thompson and Bro. Ben Hobbs officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery in Millport, AL.

Dan was born on March 27, 1950 in Millport, Alabama to Elton and Wilma (Kemp) Gartman. Dan was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved his God, his family and his church. He enjoyed hauling young people to concerts and to Six Flags, which was his favorite. He was always set on go....all they had to do was ask.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Gartman, daughter Felisa Johnson (Mark), son, Scott Gartman (Eva), a brother, Mike Gartman and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Leonard, Ken Dawkins, Dakota Dawkins, Ty Dawkins, Jay Mordecai and Josh Harper.
