Darrell Anthony Estes, age 53, of Millport, Alabama, died on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from the result of a car accident. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Roy Bush officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the chapel. There will be a graveside service at Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL. following the service with Dowdle Funeral Home directing.

Darrell was born on June 4, 1967 to Glen Edward Estes and Mary Ann Estes in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was a life-long resident of Millport and worked for Columbus Machine and Welding in Columbus, MS for many years. He enjoyed long walks in the woods, exploring forgotten and abandoned places. Darrell loved fixing things. His motto was "If he couldn't fix it, it wasn't broke".

Darrell is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Estes, Millport, AL. , close friend, Darla Campbell, Millport, AL. and Steven White (Makayla), Vernon, AL., half brother, Kirk Estes, Vernon, AL., uncle Terry Estes (Sandra), Millport, AL., nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Edward Estes, grandparents Orlen and Mozele Estes and Walter and Nell McKee.

Pallbearers will be Ray Estes, Dennis Rainwater, Joe Elinburg, Ricky Gentry, Don Crowell and I.V. Gunter.
