David Wayne Conklan, 66, of Millport, Alabama, passed away on June 19, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be held June 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery.

David was born on July 21, 1956 to Irvin Conklan, Sr. and Hazel (Aldridge) Conklan in Mobile, Alabama. David was a truck driver. He loved to fish and in recent years, developed a love for camping. David had a great sense of humor and will be missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Irvin Conklan, Jr. He is survived by his girlfriend, Darlene Spain and brothers, Edwin L. Conklan (Jo Ann) and Steve Conklan (Linda).

Pallbearers will be Allen Stokes, David Stokes, Austin Stokes, Ricky Johnson, Terry Wilson and Daniel Gann.
