Obituary
Mr. Daws Edward Black, 89 of Lynn Haven, Florida died on Friday, October 31, 2014, at Covenant Care Hospice @ Bay Memorial Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
Mr. Black was born Tuesday, July 14, 1925 in Millport, Alabama.
He served 30 plus years in the Air Force until retirement. He also worked many years as a welding supervisor for Foster Wheeler.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by parents Edward McKay and Linnie Ethel Cash Black, wife Virginia M. Black, and eight brothers.
He is survived by one brother, Jack Black ( Shirley) of Gardendale AL and Step-son Johnny Pleasanton.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday Nov 3rd 2014 in the Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Christian Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 AM prior to service.
