Obituary
Delia Phelps, 88 of Vernon, Alabama died on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, Alabama.
Born Thursday, March 1, 1928 in Millport, Alabama. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and sewing , a member of United Pentecostal Church. She retired from McCoy Mfg in Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jordan, Daughter, Lelia Mordecai, granddaughters, Jennifer Jordan, Teresa Jordan and Great Granddaughter, Jackie Branch.
Survivors are, Husband Wallace Phelps, sons, R. D. Jordan and Roland Jodan, brother, Dewell Campbell, sisters, Hazel Herrington, Gayla Siblee and Mary Wunchel; 8 grand children; 17 great grand children.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Walnut Grove, Millport, AL. With Rev. Adelbert Adcock officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Dowdle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be, Andrew Welch, R.D. Jordan, Jr., Jeff Leonard, Brain Jordan, Joseph Jordan, Josh Jordan.
