Delores McCullough Atkins, 87 of Columbus, Mississippi died on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus , Mississippi.
Born August 30, 1930 in Lamar County, AL to the Late Odell and Ludell McDaniel McCullough. She attended Millport High School before starting a career at Seminole Manufacturing that would last 40 years before her retirement. Mrs. Atkins was a member of Magnolia Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Atkins, brother Farrel McCullough, and sister Meredith Fernau.
Surviving are sons, Keary (Angie) Atkins and Marty Atkins, daughter, Belinda (Mike) Falterman, brother, Hildon (Joan) McCullough; 5 grand children; Cassie Atkins, Taylor Atkins, Michelle Falterman, Darren Falterman, Justin Atkins 3 great grand children, Reece Atkins, Waylen Atkins, JJ Atkins
Funeral Service will be Monday August 20th, at 11:00 AM at Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport AL., Dave May will be officiating the service. Visitation will be one hour prior from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery of Millport AL.
