Donald Aaron Harton, 69, passed away at his residence in Kennedy, AL on March 18, 2025. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at New Grove Baptist Church in Kennedy, AL.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at New Grove Cemetery, in Kennedy, Alabama, under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Donald was a life-long resident of Kennedy, AL and he was a dedicated Auburn Tigers fan.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Harton Sr. and Annie Ruth Harton; son, Zebullun Cannon; and brothers, Jimmie Harton Sr. and Ronald Harton.

He is survived by his daughter, Kenyette Shinn (Steven); son, Tim Harton; sisters, Carolyn Broady, Sandra Washington; and brothers, Ricky Harton, Marcus Harton (Shuna).

Pallbearers will be Norris Wilson, Donnie Poole, Greg Poole, Anthony Harton, and Brad Cooper.
