Donald Ray Mordecai, 73 of Millport, Alabama died on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at his Residence in Millport, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, June 20, 1945 in Millport, Alabama to the late Mr. John Marion Mordecai and Mrs. Rosie Lee Kelly Mordecai. He was the husband of Helen Mordecai.
Mr. Donald Mordecai worked at Weyerhaeuser for 17 years and retired. He then continued to work for Mordecai Logging for many years until retiring from there.
Surviving are Wife, Helen Mordecai, Sons; Richard Mordecai, Kenny Mordecai and Ricky Paul, Daughters, Michelle Edmondson and Misty Mordecai (James), Brothers; Charles Mordecai (Marie) and Robert Mordecai (Betty) sister; Sue Mordecai Warren; 8 grand children; 2 great grand children, and host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Mr. John Mordecai and Mrs. Rosie Lee Kelly Mordecai.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial will be at Christian Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Dowdle Funeral Home.
