Dorothy Murphy Allen, 79, of Guin Alabama passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Columbus, Mississippi.
Born on August 11, 1938 in Columbus MS. to the late Harvey Murphy and Mittie Fortner Murphy.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Allen, parents, brothers, Ernest Murphy and Dan Murphy. Son, Joey Allen, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
Mrs. Allen is survived by, Daughters, Marie Dilisio (Mike), Mary Gordon, Brenda Allen, Deborah Mize (John), Cathy Phillips.
Sons; Mark Westbrook, David Allen (Pam), sister; Edna Bowen (Pete), Brothers; Billy Murphy, Kenneth Murphy (Peggy). 18 Grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport AL.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Interment will be in Furnace Hill Cemetery of Vernon AL.
