Edith Louise Winters West, 97 years old, of Naples, Florida, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. Mrs. West was born on August 23, 1920 in Millport, Alabama. She is survived by her daughter Debra Ward (Naples); daughter-in-law Claudia West (Cape Coral); 5 grandchildren Angela West (Atlanta), Christopher West (Chicago), Meredith Ward (Tampa), Cameron Ward (Naples) and Kelsey Ward (Tallahassee); one great grandson Ryan West along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William M. West; son William D. West and son-in-law Orville D. Ward. Mrs. West was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Fort Myers Florida. She was a hospital volunteer as well as a hospice volunteer in her 70s and 80s. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed!!

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport AL. The Visitation will begin one hour prior at 12:00 and last until the service.

Burial will be in Millport City Cemetery.
