IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Egypt
Cooper
March 1, 2005 – July 20, 2025
With hearts heavy but filled with deep love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Egypt Arianna Cooper, who entered eternal rest on July 20, 2025, at just 20 years old,
Born on March 1, 2005, Egypt was a bright light in this world. She was funny, loving, full of energy and always ready to light up a room with her laugh. She found her greatest joy in her family, especially in being a devoted mother to her precious one-year-old son, Emeer. To know Egypt was to know the true meaning of unconditional love. Her bond with her sister Jotney, her niece Janova and all the children in her life was unshakable. She was the one you could always count on, the one who'd give you her last, the one who loved fiercely and loudly. Egypt loved music, it was her peace. She could be found singing and humming and Emeer by her side, always on her hip, never far from her heart. She mothered with grace, protected with fire and loved without limits.
She leaves behind her beloved mother, Lasuanna Cooper and father, Johnathon Williams and her son, Emeer Mazion Cooper. Egypt is also survived by her siblings, Jotney Cooper, Johnjessica Williams, Shadrica Edwards, Deryona Smith, Janaya Craf, John Williams, Jr., Jonathan McNair, Joshua McNair, Jeremy Shaw and Cody Hall. Her many nieces, nephews and other family members will carry her memory forward. Egypt was raised in Millport, Alabama by her mother and grandmother, Effie Rose Cooper, both of whom poured into her a love that she gave right back to everyone around her. Her laugh will echo in our hearts forever. Her love, radiant and rare, will never fade. Egypt was truly something special and her legacy lives on in every soul she touched.
As she enters eternal rest, Egypt is reunited with loved ones who went before her- her beloved grandmother, Gail Cooper, her little cousin Jaizlyn Cooper and her grandfather, Charles Cox. We find comfort in knowing they welcomed her with open arms.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Rev. Kevin Dixon officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at New Grove Cemetery in Kennedy, Alabama under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are James Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, Jydarren Cox, Malik Cox, Anthony Harton and John Williams, Jr.
