REFORM, Ala. — Elsie Mae Hollinger Guy, 79, died Jun 29, 2014, at her residence. Graveside services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in the Coalfire Community in Alabama with George Shaw officiating. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Guy was born May 3, 1935, in Pickens County, Ala., to the late Archie L. and Dollie Homan Hollinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Leo Guy Sr.; son, Anthony Mark Guy; siblings, Grandvill, George, Willard, Estell and Virginia. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sanders, Barbara Parker and Pam Spurgin, all of Reform; sons, David Guy Jr. of Ethelsville, Alabama, and Benny Guy of Reform; sister, Lou Nell Black of Northport, Alabama; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chad Cunningham, Benny Guy Jr., Lane Guy, Shain Kelly, Chris Kinard, Wesley Kinard, Bobby Sanders and Jeremy Shelton
