Obituary
Mr. Emanuel Braxton Blasingame, 90 of Vernon, Al died Sunday Feb. 14, 2016 at his home.
Visiation will be Friday feb. 19, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Dowdle Funeral Home followed by Funeral Service at 7:30 pm from Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday Feb. 20, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, in Greenville, Ms.
Mr. Blasingame was born Jan. 25, 1926 in Mathiston, Ms to Monroe & Velma Reagan Blasingame. He served in the US Army and worked in the Textile industry. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma, son Jerry Blasingame, daughter Sue Green, granddaughter Sandra Jean, grandson Dusty Burns, sister Gladys Schmidt and brother JW Blasingame.
He is survived by: Daughters, Barbara (Buddy) Williamson, Sandra (Marc) Lett, Jeannie (Jay) Solomon, brothers, Donald Blasingame, and Norman Blasingame. 13 Grandchildren 26 Great Grandchildren and a number of Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandson's, Stephen Hinton, Jeff Blasingame, Lucian Lett, Cody Lett, Johnny Reynolds, Stacey Beam, Robert Beam.
