Obituary
Mrs. Eva Conn Ray, 95, of Millport, AL died Tuesday January 24, 2017 at Generations of Vernon.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday January 27, 2017 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Friendship cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Mrs. Ray was born August 26, 1921 in Caledonia, MS to the late Will & Alice Cook Conn. A member of Steens church of Christ she enjoyed serving as a Pink Lady as a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle . She also worked many years at United Technology of Columbus, MS, She was preceded in death by her husband, C. F. Ray, an infant daughter, Kitty Blanch Ray, sisters, Nettie Smith, Susie Gullet & Margaret Terrell.
She is survived by her daughter, Cedell (Charles) Hudgens, son, Bobby (Martha) Ray, sister, Helen Hays. Grandchildren, Chris (Dana) Hudgens, Corey (Susie) Hudgens, Lee (Christi) Ray. Great Grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Javi, Anna & Jace Hudgens, Rylee Ray, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hudgens, Corey Hudgens, Lee Ray, Jake Hudgens, Luke Hudgens & Billy Carroll.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Men of Steens Church of CHrist, and Friends of the Ray and Hudgens Family.
