IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Faye
Hardin
July 10, 1949 – April 10, 2024
Annie Faye Hardin age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10th,2024 at her residence in Millport Alabama.
She was born July 10th, 1949, in Reform Alabama to the late Ernest and Nannie Mae Shaw. She Married William Clark Hardin on December 22, 1967, at Mt Tabor Church in Palmetto AL They were blessed with two children Marsha Faye Hardin Oglesby, William Glenn Hardin, Staci Beard Evans and Brandon Hutch Beard, two she considered her own. Faye worked with the United Postal Service for many years and later became a housewife, where she raised her kids and loved and cared for those that she didn't birth but claimed as her own. She later cared for her grandchildren, Miranda Blake Hardin Sanford, Timothy Aaron Oglesby, Morgan Elizabeth Hardin Jordan, and William Jacob Oglesby.
Faye and Clark traveled many miles following the Millport JR Tide and Later the South Lamar Stallions. If there was a game, they were going. She loved every child they ever had the opportunity to coach or just followed watching them play. Over the years, she created friendships as well as gained family members, all because of their love for the game. If you ever spoke to Faye, you knew what she was thinking. She loved hard and she was tough as nails, but at the end of the day you always knew she would love you no matter what. Faye loved her family, her kids were her world and later the grand kids came, and she spoiled them every chance she could. She was the rock to the family, and she will be missed by so many, but she left behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be remembered by many.
She is survived by her husband , William Clark Hardin; a brother, Paul Shaw (Mary Shaw) ; half siblings Debra Baker ( Danny Baker), Larry Duncan, Elaine Baswell (Jimmy Baswell); children Marsha Faye Hardin Oglesby ( Timothy Oglesby), William Glenn Hardin; grandchildren; Blake Hardin Sanford ( Justin Sanford), Timothy Aaron Oglesby ( Rachel Strickland Oglesby), Morgan Elizabeth Hardin Jordan (Brandon Jordan), William Jacob Oglesby ; great-grandchildren Brenley Lane Sanford, Brylon Glen Sanford, Amelia Grey Oglesby, Beau James Sanford, Hadleigh Elizabeth Jordan, and Bexton Clark Sanford; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
