Floyd Patterson,III, 54, of Millport, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his residence. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama. Funeral services will be Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with burial service for family only following at Springhill Cemetery in Millport, AL.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Dawkins Young and father Nathan Patterson, sisters Bonita Patterson Dempsey and Cody Patterson Ferraez (Jeremy), three nieces Aviana Ferraez, Gabriella Ferraez, Emilia Ferraez and his very dear and best friend, Jennifer Turner, one uncle, Bill Dawkins, three cousins, Robbin Pritchett (Michael), Billy Dawkins (Wendy) and Vickie Langley.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin Ed Dawkins and Wilda Vail Dawkins, Nathan Patterson Sr. and Lillie Roden Patterson.

Pallbearers include Mike Vail, Lee Vail, Billy Dawkins, Jr., Norman Turner, Toby Turner, Scout Turner, Greg Morton, Michael Cunningham, Millport High School Football Championship Team 1983-1984. Honorary pallbearers is the Class of 1985.
