Frances Ellamae Strickland, 90, of Kennedy, AL., passed away on April 25, 2022 at her residence. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022,  6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. Jeffery Flann and Bro. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Fayette, AL.

Frances loved doing crossword puzzles and she especially loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Strickland, sons Jerry and Terry Strickland, a sister, Joyce Faye Cook, a brother, Junior Cook and a grandson, Jeffery Dunn.

She is survived by her three daughters, Delmar Ruth Thornton, Sarah Dunn and Judy Guy, 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Devin Dunn, Valiant Guy, Michael Dunn, Jeffery Dunn, Dylan Dunn, Lee Graham, Clay Duke and Blake Green.
