William Gary Atkins, 55, of Millport, AL passed away on November 8, 2020 at his residence. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Millport, AL with Dowdle Funeral Home directing.

Gary was passionate about all things guitar. He had numerous hobbies and was amazing with his hands. He never limited his work to just one hobby. He loved working on small motors, making and personalizing jewelry and embroidering to keep his hands busy. He loved singing praise and worship songs; music got him through it all. He had a love of pickles with salt and popcorn eaten together.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lowell Atkins and one brother, Ricky Atkins.

He is survived by his mother, Jewel Atkins, his daughter, Kayla Flye (Justin), a son, Gabe Knight, a brother, Jeff Atkins (Vicki) and two grandchildren, Joy and Maddox Flye.
