Gary Crowley, 80, passed away on Sunday September 1, 2024 at his residence in Kennedy, Al. His funeral service will be Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Bro Keith Crowley officiating assisted by Bro. Jeff Long and Father Gerald Holloway. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Kennedy, Alabama.

Gary was born in Kennedy Alabama on May 6, 1944 to Paulie and Ada Crowley. He worked for Harpole Steel Building Company for over 40 years. He was a die-hard Alabama fan and loved hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids and his dog, Roscoe.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Paulie and Ada Crowley, a son, Joshua Bo Crowley, a sister, Jane Davis, brothers Jimmy and Joe Crowley, a son-in-law Lonnie Russell and a grandson, Easton Malone Ross. He is survived by his wife, Mashella Jean Lambert Crowley, two daughters, Lisa Crowley Russell and Hope Crowley Ross (Kenneth Brenden Ross), a son, Jeffery Keith Crowley (Alisa), sisters Mary Nell Roebuck, Carolyn Lockhart (Roy), Francis Rondall, brothers Don Crowley (Ruth) and Steve Crowley (Sandra), four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Lambert, Richey Lambert, Brandon Ross, Joel Stripling, Brad Crowley, Chris Hindman and Scott Crowley.
