Geneva Rushing Anderson, 90, of Kennedy, AL, passed away April 10, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. She was born on July 7, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Franklin "Dock" and Dessie Cooper Rushing. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Anderson, two brother, and three sisters.

She worked at Westinghouse and McCoy Manufacturing.

She is survived by one son, Jimmy D. Anderson (Kaye), daughters, Ardeth Blanton (Roy), Shirley Porter (Danny) and Mary Ann Foster (Steve), sisters, Mary Weathers and Virginia Henderson, 4 Grandchildren Doug Blanton (Michelle), Cassie Carroll (Scotty), Jamie Anderson and Ashlea Anderson. One great grandson, Liam Carroll.

There will be a private family viewing April 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL followed by a private graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Kennedy City Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Stough officiating.
