Obituary

Edward Gwynn "Shrimp" Keasler, 82, of Reform, Alabama passed away on December 10, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Presbyterian Church in Reform, AL. with Bro. George McLaurine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport, AL.

Gwynn was born on June 27, 1939 to Charles and Lydia (Hogue) Keasler in Reform, AL. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He loved gardening and Alabama football. Shrimp especially loved cooking for his family and he loved his grandchildren Angel, Amyrical, Amber, Karen, Ashley, Alexis, Chase, Peyton, Josh, Paige and Ty.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Keasler, a daughter, Teresa Ann Andresen (John Paul), sons, Charles Edward Keasler, John Wayne Keasler (Gaynel), David Gwynn Keasler (Sherry Leigh), sisters Dorothy Rickman and Betty May and one brother, Joe Scott Keasler, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Alene Lake and brothers Donald and Charles Keasler.
