Mr. Harlan Bruce Dean, 87 of Millport, Alabama died on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at his Residence in Millport, Alabama.

Born Sunday, October 18, 1931 in Reform, Alabama. He was the husband of Nadine Dean. Mr. Harlan worked many years at Hayes International Aircraft and retired from there, and then he continued to work at Weyerhaeuser for many years before retiring. He was deacon at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church, He was Mason and  Shriner at Reform Lodge. Mr. Harlan loved to fish and hunt in his spare time. He also loved his family and his church.

He was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are wife; Nadine Dean, daughters, Dianne Lacey (Dan), Cindy Corbett (Tim), Deborah Pugh (Charles), and Darlene Spain; 8 grand children; 18 great grand children.

Preceded in death by brothers, Tom Dean, Hillman Dean, John B. Dean, W. A. Dean, sisters, Pauline Ott, Edith Mae Clemmons and Evenlyn Dean

Masonic Services  will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel,

Pallbearers will be Allan Ott, Dale Shelton, Jack McGee, Lee Plymon, Christopher Shelton, David Conklan.

Officiating the service will be Luke Bozeman, and Larry Shelton.
