Harold Edward "Eddie" Leonard, 67, of Kennedy, AL, passed away on October 5, 2023, at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL, with Bro. Terry Robinson officiating with Bro. Jeff Harrison and Bro. David Long assisting. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.

Eddie was born on April 12, 1956 in Mobile, Alabama. He was a Church of God pastor for most of his life. He enjoyed Alabama football and was an avid collector of coins and knives. He loved to spend time with his grandkids and he had a special love for his dog "Bama".

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Linda Bouler and Sandra Leonard. He is survived by his wife, Tina Leonard of Kennedy, AL., a brother, Herman Aldridge, four sons, DeWayne Leonard (Rose), Ricky Leonard (Lisa), Nicky Leonard (Haley) and Shawn Leonard (Randi) and 6 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles Colburn, C.J. Colburn, Mason Colburn, Buddy Perrigan, and Tyler Harrison.
