Timothy Jacob Griffin, 38, of Millport, AL. passed away on January 24, 2023 at his residence. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The body will lie in state from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Millport, AL. under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Jacob was a graduate of South Lamar High School and received a machinist degree from Bevil State Community College. He was employed at Hyster/NACCO for 15 years as a machinist. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, superheroes and spending time with his family. Jacob was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Virginia Dawkins and Leonard and Ruth Griffin.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Angela  Hayes Griffin, his parents, Tim and Cassie Griffin, a daughter, Lily Griffin, a son, Jayce Griffin, a sister, Beth Smith (Spencer), nephew Simon Smith and niece April Watkins and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Spencer Smith, Simon Smith, Ty Dawkins, Dakota Dawkins, Eric Dawkins and Brandon Mullenix.
