Mr. James Arion "Bill" Wilson, 77 of Millport, Alabama died on Monday, October 20, 2014, at his Residence in Millport, Alabama.
Born Monday, November 2, 1936 in Kennedy, Alabama to the late Fowler "Jack" and Jessie Malone Wilson. He was preceded in death by his brother Lee Edward Wilson.
He was the husband of 55 years to Judy Vail Wilson.
He was a member of Millport Church of Christ. Mr. Wilson served 10 years in the US Navy and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Bill retired from Weyerhaeuser after 28 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Vail Wilson, of Millport, AL. sons, Ken (Bonnie) Wilson of Millport, AL and Keith (Amanda) Wilson of Cystal Springs, MS; daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Courtney Clay, AL, sister, Loraine Sanders Steens, MS; 5 grand children; Ethan Courtney, Kristy (Darren) Allbritton, Kendra Wilson, Taylor Wilson & Olivia Wilson, 2 great grand children. Kenton & Kyler Allbritton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Dowdle Funeral Home.
