Janet Richards, 77 of Millport, Alabama died on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at The Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Al

Born Tuesday, January 24, 1939 in Mt. Olive, Mississippi, to the Late Johnny Lee & Katie Katherine White Lofton. She moved to Columbus, MS and Worked for Columbus Hospital where she met her late husband, Lecil Richards they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. She lived in Millport for most of her life where She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, Wyman Richards and Keith Richards, step-son Tony(Pat ) Richards, daughters, Stephanie(Kevin) Watkins and Carmen (Chuck) Ellis. Sisters, Evelyn Miley, Jewel Matthews, Nancy Foreman, Maggie Watt & Peggy Garrison, Brothers, Johnny Lofton, Cecil Lofton & Rodney Lofton.
Grandchildren, Dalton & Brandy Richards, Taylor Richards, Caroline & Natlie Watkins, McKenzie & Hanna Ellis, Scotty Richards, Kevin (Shanna) Richards, Nicole(Michael) Harvey, Tisha (Jeremy) Cochran, Erica (Stan) Smith, Skyler Stone.
Great Grandchildren, Brittany Richards, Wyatt Richards, Allie Rae, Mollie & Carlie Harvey, Kaytee Karragan & Kensie Cochran, Drew & Emilee Smith.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Springhill Baptist, Millport, AL. With Dustin Semore officiating.
Pallbearers will be Steve Foreman, Wayne Lofton, Bradley Lofton, Eddie Watt, Hoyt Ricards, Wayne Trapp, Wayne Trapp, Andrew Foreman
